Zum Soundtossing Projekt aus Österreich gabs letztes Jahr hier auf dem Blog schon mal was. Seit dem ist einiges passiert und es gibt u.a. zwei neue Videos von Soundfiti und seinen Urban Cricket-Installationen aus Linz und Leonding. While street art has a rich history in terms the formation of the urban landscape, mainly through the appropriation of wall space, Sound Tossing offers a way to play with urban aesthetics through filling space with unique acoustic input. It provides new ways to add meaning to public spaces. Über den Künstler: Soundfiti is an artist and researcher working in the field of Sonic Interaction and Street Art based in Linz, Austria… his areas of focus are perception, documentation and the manipulation of acoustic space.
