Ab dem 24. November 2011 ist Miss Van mit der Ausstellung “Muses” zu Gast in der Wiener INOPERAbLE Gallery. Ich habe schon ein paar sneak preview Bilder gesehen, wow! Wer also gerade in Wien ist, auf keinen Fall verpassen!
„This week the infamous and incredibly talented artist Miss Van will be in Vienna preparing for her first solo show in Vienna. As one of the first major female street artists, Miss Van made a name for herself with colorful sexy characters mixing in a bit of anime and pinup. Over time her work has become a bit darker but her works remain highly sexual and very interesting. Her use of earth tones on wood surfaces create a warm intimate atmosphere as bird ladies or muses peer through masks at you with the signature Miss Van eyes.
The works arrived last week, and as we unpacked the works from their giant wooden shipping crate, it felt almost better than Christmas. Each neatly packed canvas better than the last! We are extremely excited to have the renowned artist in Vienna setting up her latest show. She will also be at the opening and available to sign her book “Twinkles,” created in cooperation with Magda Danysz and Drago.“
