Alaniz just completed a large new piece entitled „Syrian Pietà“. This is Alaniz’s version of the classic Michalangelo’s sculpture „Pietà“. He replaced the body of Christ, with a dead child. Its his way to commemorate and denounce the massacre that is currently taking place in Syria, where more than 60000 people already died. Silence is the worst form of complicity.
